Lot#1.
Whakarau.
The Pavillion & Village Green.
The ‘Commons’ will provide a meeting point and become the community hub for Rapaki – a place for residents and visitors to enjoy. With its sunny north-facing aspect and relaxed setting, the Village Green and Pavilion will provide a place to meet, relax, play and enjoy the views across to the ranges and beyond.
Whakarau is open, airy, abundant with established trees - and over time the native planting in the waterways will add more privacy and character around the open lawns with occasional seating, Nature Play area and the architectural feature of the Pavilion.
Sitting at the heart of the development, the Village Green is designed as a communal space. A vast open lawn with occasional seating, a Nature Play area and Paddleball/Pickleball courts.

Lot#1. Whakarau.
The soul of Rapaki.
Situated at the Rapaki Walk entry, at the corner of Shooting Butts Road, Lot #1 is sheltered from the road by an established hedgerow, and has an abundance of established tree lines at each side. The regenerating waterways and new native replanting are a significant feature of the land.
The Commons will be the site of the future Pavilion, Padel Courts and Village Green. The Rapaki walk will still start and end here.
